Jiangxi to operate first inter-city railway in September

September 15, People's Daily - Jiangxi Province will officially begin to operate the first inter-city railway on Sept. 20, according to the Nanchang Railway Bureau, Jiangxi province.
Nanchang and Jiujiang inter-city railways have two types of models. They are the CRH1A and CRH2A high-speed multiple units equipped with an advanced computer control system with a high level of automation and a good safety record.
CRH1A high-speed multiple units are manufactured by Bombardier Sifang (Tsingtao) Transportation, Ltd. (abbreviated as BST) with a maximum speed of 200 kilometers per hour and CRH2A high-speed multiple units are manufactured by Tsingtao Sifang Locomotive & Rolling Stock Corporation, Ltd. with a maximum speed of 250 kilometers per hour.
