Mar. 10, 2010 (China Knowledge) - The total import and export value in Ganzhou city, Jiangxi Province, amounted to US$1.21 billion in 2009, and the city's exports amounted to US$974 million.

With the improvement of port services in the city, the number of containers passing through customs rose 6.1% year on year to 9,581 despite the global financial crisis. Cargo handled at the port was 57,900 tons, up 11.9% year on year.

Ganzhou Port's steady development will continue to support the export-oriented economic growth of the city.
