GT Solar said the order was booked during the fiscal fourth quarter and revenue will be recognized in future periods.

The contract is for GT Solar's ingot growth furnaces, related equipment and services. The Merrimack, N.H., company makes equipment and develops technology for the solar power industry.

Shares of GT Solar fell 8 cents to close at $5.54.
