August 1, Xinhua - A ceremony for the start of the repairing work of the ancient kiln was held in Jingdezhen City, China's porcelain capital, eastern Jiangxi Province Aug. 1, 2009. The kiln is considered as the last kiln of Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). The kiln, stopped firing 13 years ago, is expected to restart firing on Oct. 18.
