January 7, gndaily.com - The celebration ceremony of Huanengruijin Power Plant first stage project starting production was held in Ganxian County, Ganzhou City January 6, 2009.

Su Rong, secretary of Jiangxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Director of the Standing Committee of the Province People's Congress attended the ceremony and announced Huanengruijin Power Plant first stage project starting production.

Huanengruijin Power Plant, occupying a land area of 1300 Chinese acres, a key project amid China's 11th Five Year Plan period, began to construct in April, 2007.
The first stage construction, invested 2.45 billion yuan, has two 350,000 kilowatt generators. Its annual power capacity amounts to 4,200,000,000 kilowatt-hours, output value 1.58 billion Yuan, tax revenue 150 million Yuan.

Huanengruijin Power Plant filled in the blank of not big power source in south Jiangxi, will enhance Ganzhou's electrical network, power supply reliability and electrical energy quality.
