LONDON (Thomson Financial) - enterpriseAsia PLC said it will invest about 113,915 stg through one of its unit to acquire a 49 pct stake in Jiangxi Dayu Yangchuan Hydro Power Development Co Ltd (JDY) in China.

EPA said JDY will build a 2.5MW hydro-electric power plant producing about 10 mln kWh per year to serve Dayu township.

It added it will also provide a shareholder's loan of 405,175 stg in two phases at an interest of 7.11 pct for the construction of the power plant, which is scheduled to be complete by June 2008.
