Spring Festival Transport Begins in Jiangxi

January 25, Nanchang, Metropolis Consumers' Daily- Jiangxi's Spring Festival Transport began when No. L269 train from Nanchang to Dongguan (in Guangdong Province) moved out of Nanchang Railway Station at 1:32 am Jan. 25.

As the Spring Festival, Chinese lunar New Year or Year of the Rooster which falls on February 9, approaches, millions of Chinese are heading home to be with their families. The trains are expected to make 145 million passenger journeys during the 40 days before and after the festival in China.
