September 15, Jiangxi Daily - The kite-flying contest of the Fifth National Farmers Games of China (FNFGC), which will officially open on October 18 in Yichun city Jiangxi province, was over in Fengcheng city yesterday. 

A kite depicting the legendary Monkey King caught the eye of many at a kite contest held in Fengcheng, Jiangxi Province. Unfolded, the kite stretches to 7 square metres.

The contest, drawing 22 teams from across the country, was held earlier to take advantage of good weather. Beijing team and Shandong team won the first prizes, Tianjin, Guangdong, Shanghai teams won the second prizes, and Zhejiang, Guizhou, Shaanxi, Hubei teams won the third prizes. Jiangxi, Xinjiang and Anhui teams won the sportsmanship prizes.
