Tongtianyan Grottoes is located in the northwest of Ganzhou ,about 12 kilometers from the city.It is a scenery with Danxia landforms features.

The grottes can be traced to the Tang Dynasty .With 128 stone inscriptions and 358  carved figures,Tongtianyan Grottoes  is  a  well-known treasury of  grottoes art and also a summmer resort .
